1Enquiry

The job lands on its own

On your phone

A lead appears in your jobs list with the customer, the address and what they asked for. It got there from a text, a scan of the code on your ute, your website, or because you tapped New job after a phone call.

What your customer gets

They described the job on their phone in about a minute. No app, no account, nothing to install.

Every way work comes in
2Quote

You price it, and send it before you leave

On your phone

Your costs are already there — last-used for a repeat job, or one tap to apply a TradeWin Recipe™ that scales to the size. You see the price, the margin and what you'd actually keep after tax before you commit to a number.

What your customer gets

A branded quote in their inbox with Accept and Decline built in. One tap and you know.

TradeWin Recipes™
3Booked

Accepted turns into a job in the diary

On your phone

The quote becomes a job by itself the moment they accept — you don't re-type it. Drop it in the diary against that job, on the day view or the week, with whoever's on it.

What your customer gets

A text the day before reminding them you're coming, so you're not ringing round to confirm.

Scheduling
4On site

Tap Start when you get there

On your phone

Arriving moves the job to In progress on its own. The job keeps total time and every session with who did it — a record of what happened, not a charge, because your quote was a fixed price. Your own forms get filled in here too, with photos and a signature.

What your customer gets

Nothing to do. They just see someone turn up when the text said they would.

Forms
5Variation

Extra work gets signed before you do it

On your phone

You open the wall and it's worse than it looked. Write it up, attach the photo, hand them your phone. It locks to the job and carries onto the invoice by itself.

What your customer gets

They see what you found, what it costs, and they sign it on the spot — instead of finding out when the bill arrives.

Variations
6Invoice

Bill it off the job, not off memory

On your phone

Raise the invoice from the job with the quote and every signed variation already on it. Push it to Xero as a draft with the lines filled in.

What your customer gets

A link they can pay by card, so it doesn't sit in a pile waiting for a bank transfer.

Invoicing
7Paid

Paid, and the record freezes

On your phone

The job closes and nothing on it can be added, edited or deleted — so the job you billed in March still reads the way it did in March. More work turns up? One tap re-opens it, and the re-open goes into the timeline.

What your customer gets

Done. And every job you've ever done for them is still on their record for next time.

Job management

The request arrives without you

You’re under a house with the phone in your pocket. The details still arrive, with a priced draft when its Recipe is set up.

All of it, side by side

And stage two is priced to win, not just added up

Tradewin’s pricing engine does the working out instead: your real costs in, a number back that’s tuned to your business.

You see the price, the margin and your take-home after tax and GST before you say a number out loud. Send that one or send your own — it’s still your call.

Frequently asked questions

Is Tradewin free to use?

Yes — the whole thing is free forever, no card required to start, capped at 30 new pricing jobs a month and 3 saved Recipes. Editing, saving, scheduling and invoicing the same job still counts once. Paid plans start from $26/mo and lift both caps outright and include SMS; Business adds your own number, SMS Auto-Quote and team features.

Do I have to create jobs by hand?

No. Every quote you save becomes a job automatically, and when the customer accepts it the job moves itself to Won. You can also start one from scratch when the work comes in by phone.

Can I run the whole thing off my phone?

That's what it's built for. It installs to the home screen on Android and iPhone alike, and the parts you use on site — the diary, the timer, forms, variations — are designed thumb-first.

What can my crew see?

What you decide. Contractors see the jobs they're on and can record their own time, but can't create jobs, edit them or change their status. You can switch off price visibility per person — they'll see the job and the schedule with no quotes, variations or invoices at all.

What trades does Tradewin support?

Tradewin currently supports Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting, Tiling, Concreting, Roofing, HVAC / Air Conditioning, Landscaping, Pest Control, Pool & Spa, Garage Doors, and Other — with comprehensive job subtypes for each. More trades are added regularly.

How accurate is the recommended price?

The recommendation is built from your actual costs, so it moves with what you really pay. It is not a guarantee — real-world results vary by client, location and circumstances, and the number is always yours to change before you send it. On Pro and above, Tradewin also tunes the recommendation to how your own quotes have performed.

Does Tradewin use other tradies' prices?

No. Tradewin prices every job from your own numbers. Your prices are never pooled with other businesses or used to set anyone else's pricing.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your individual quote data is never shared with other users or used to price other businesses' jobs. Your client details, costs, and business information remain private to your account.

Does Tradewin replace my accountant?

No. Tradewin is a business productivity tool, not a financial or accounting service. Tax and profit estimates are illustrative only and do not account for your individual tax position. You should continue to work with a registered accountant for tax advice.
