Inbound Quote Automation & Job Costs
How questions route inbound requests to Recipes, drafts or safe automatic delivery.
The configurable profile editor is currently limited to the staging preview. There, published quote automation asks your configured questions and routes each answer to the Recipe, costs or review path you chose. Older links without a published profile remain draft-only.
Prepare accurate drafts
- •Open the calculator, pick the job type, and enter realistic materials + labour (or apply a recipe).
- •Save costs — they become the defaults for that job type.
- •Without saved costs or a valid Recipe, the request stays held for review.
- •For per-unit jobs (each, m², lm, hr), set costs that scale — e.g. materials and labour per power point.
What happens to an inbound request
- •New SMS, website and QR sessions use the exact published version they started with.
- •A service set to Draft stays in your Requests queue for review.
- •A service set to Auto-send can deliver only a calculated outcome when the published version is still active and its exact current Recipe, costs, above-cost price, ABN, usage cap and delivery-provider checks all pass.
- •Callback, assessment, ambiguous routing and older unversioned links stay with the business instead of sending a price.
Your responsibility
Review held drafts and callback requests promptly; selecting a callback option records the request but never places a phone call automatically.
